Tasting Notes
A sweet floral scent coming from lavender, gladioli and lilies appeared at first before, with time, blondies (chocolate brownies where the cocoa is substituted with vanilla) took over. On the palate neat what for one Panellist was a proper builder’s brew was for another ‘trendier’ Panel member a masala chai or, even more contemporary, a chilli boba. Following the addition of water, the floral aroma turned a bit earthier as we walked through a sunflower field on a warm sunny day. To refresh ourselves we enjoyed slices of honeydew melon, cucumber and some lime juice.
