Tasting Notes
An alluring arrangement of roses, carnations and coconuts welcomed the senses before layers of milk chocolate, gooseberries and resinous pine needles began to build complexity. The elaborate amalgamation ventured deeper on the palate as ginger and pineapple merged with Turkish delight, toasted pistachios and oak sawdust in a leather pouch. A few drops of water brought digestive biscuits, marzipan and rice pudding topped with cinnamon into the mix. A sweet fragrance remained but now of elderflowers, eucalyptus and mint leaves. Then layers of star anise, cloves and honey combined before we finished with lemon cough sweets and grapefruit skin.
