Tasting Notes
We walked through a magical forest full of the aromas of fresh pine, bitter orange, green leafy geraniums, woody balsamic fir needles and a resinous fruity herbal spiciness. We made a break and enjoyed a sip from our thermos flask, one had hot nettle tea with honey and cinnamon, while others had a refreshing, cooling mint tea with a peppercorn juniper spice kick. Following reduction, we peeled an orange and cracked some black pepper before we enjoyed eau de vie de poire Williams Grande Reserve from Alsace matured in oak casks, followed by saffron and ginger pears with orange posset
