Tasting Notes
We noted at first a wonderful intense, yet delicate, citrus sweetness of lemon scones with clotted cream, followed by sliced pears and peaches and the aromatic scent of pine trees. Still feisty on the palate neat, a lemony zing like that of a well-made grapefruit and thyme gin fizz, with a corny bourbon note in the finish. Water added plenty of freshness in the shape of grassy and green apples playfully mingling with gooey and crunchy marshmallow Rice Krispie cakes, pink cotton candy, marzipan and golden sultanas. The taste a refreshing summer fruit punch with mixed fruit cordial, pineapple, fruit cocktail and lime juice garnished with a mint sprig.
