Tasting Notes
Fresh and fragrant aromas embarked on a journey through citrus, rose gardens and wild strawberries before arriving at raspberry jelly topped with rainbow-coloured candy and sandalwood sawdust. Fresh ginger exploded into orange marmalade and grapefruit in the mouth before joining citrus bitters in an old fashioned cocktail. With water we found curious notes of traditional cola and kumquat wrapped with nutmeg, cloves and angelica root, while gingerbread was served with oak-aged cider. Angelica root continued on the palate alongside liquorice stick, mint leaves and singed orange skin on a bed of nutmeg, cinnamon and lemon skin.
