Carl from Ardnamurchan Distillery will be bringing some exciting new drams for Society members to enjoy.
Established in 2014, the distillery embodies the spirit of its namesake peninsula, renowned for its wild landscapes and untamed character. The Ardnamurchan peninsula is famous for its outstanding and untouched beauty and abundance of natural resources. The distillery is situated half way along the peninsula in the small village of Glenbeg and was designed to both look like a distillery and to fit in with the surrounding buildings.
With World Earth Day landing on 22 April we couldn’t think of a better distillery to visit us in April. Ardnamurchan were awarded Global Sustainability Award 2024. The distillery operates using renewable energy sources, including a biomass boiler fueled by woodchips from local forestry operations and a hydroelectric scheme that harnesses power from the nearby river.
This is a five dram tasting has a Society supper included.
