A wonderfully sappy and herbal nose at first. Alive, green, fresh and abundantly vivacious and springy. Lots of saps, pollens, cut grass, marker pens, white flowers, fir wood resins, dried apricot in flapjack and exotic hardwood shavings hot from a lathe. Water unveils linen starch, hessian cloth, cream crackers, pure cereals, barley water, malt extract, ash-rolled goat cheese, dandelion and burdock and meadowsweet. A soft and buttery arrival on the palate, lots of dandelion, vase water, aloe vera gel, lemon zest, dried oregano and pressed flowers. With dilution we found it more peachy with gooseberry acidity, apricot jam on melba toast, rosewater and young calvados.
