Tasting Notes
Farmyard and seashore collide with the wreckage bursting from the glass! Salted meats, sheep wool, frying scallops, tractor engines, fishing nets, tar extract, bacon wrapped asparagus and salty beach pebbles. A tinge of horseradish gives warmth. Water unveils fresh sea air, gorse bush, horse stables, camphor, salted butter and campfire ash in brine. Sausages grilling on a sandalwood fire. Also notes of oily rag, tool boxes and old antiseptic. The palate is alive with soft peat oils, soot, hessian cloth, almond oil, smoked sourdough, shellfish and bbq sauce. Water brings brake fluid, lemon and lime juice, sweet herbal smoke, paraffin wax and old herbal liqueurs. Wonderful stuff!
