Tasting Notes
An aromatic and gentle profile we felt, one which exhibited aromas of hedgerow, undergrowth and other natural, organic and nicely fresh things. We also noted juniper, hibiscus flower and citrus throat lozenges. Water brought flower nectars, aged dessert wines, honeyed granola and citrus curds. The mouth was gentle on arrival, all focused on flower honey, cough drops and lemon barley water with a hint of custard. A splash of water revealed a slightly peppery and more drying side, with herbal tones and touches of lanolin and sunflower oil. This was elegant and very satisfying overall.
