The Scotch Malt Whisky Society has been named 2024 Independent Bottler of the Year by the New York International Spirits Competition (NYISC).
This is the first year the Society has entered NYISC. In addition to ‘Independent Bottler of the Year’, the Society took home nine other awards. Medals included four golds, two silvers along with three regional Scotch of the Year titles.
Back in the UK, the Society took home seven awards from the International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC) with one gold, three silver and three bronze medals.
This brings the Society’s total awards to 338 since 2018.
