Strawberries and cream, rhubarb and custard, lemon sorbet as well as pink peppercorns, brown sugar and a touch of vanilla and lavender made this a very engaging nose neat. To taste like the party welcome-drink called Melon Medley – cantaloupe melon cubes orange and lemon juice blended together and served over crushed ice and garnished with a cocktail cherry. After dilution plenty of citrus notes at first followed by lemongrass and pear drops while on the palate fascinating sweet malty cereal notes like biting off a piece from an Ovomaltine chocolate bar while, in the finish, dry with a hint of coriander spice.
