Tasting Notes
Initial nosing suggested dried pineapple rings, brandy snaps, mint tea, foam shrimp sweeties and tinned lychees preserved in syrup. Vibrantly fruity and syrupy in profile. With water it became richer on the nose, displaying salted caramel sauce, pencil shavings, lemon zest and the creamy sweetness of banoffee pie. There was still a balancing freshness from mint and ripe melon however. The palate when neat displayed similar syrupy vibes, with notes of mashed banana, abundant fruit salad impressions, soft wood spices, dried ginger, lemon curd and tinned mango slices. With water we found notes of custard and a wonderfully gooey texture which enhanced these fruity sweetnesses, plus notes of tangerine, subtle red chilli, toffee and vanilla cream.
