Tasting Notes
Strolling through summer meadows, the sweet scent of roses and carnations blended with dried grass and malty cereals before a tropical breeze carried banana, mango and coconut. Floral fragrance and malted barley migrated on to the palate to be joined by rum and raisin ice cream, garnished with ginger and eucalyptus leaves. With water our journey passed through buttery fudge, cherries and strawberries, with curious wafts of fermenting pineapples, pears and melon. This heady fruitiness combined with lemon and menthol on the tongue to suggest honey-centred throat lozenges, while a green leafiness transformed into grape skin and oak tannins on the finish.
