Society Ambassador Logan Shaw will be joined by Irene Baxter, Sensory Scientist from the Scotch Whisky Research Institute, for a fascinating exploration of how we perceive aroma, taste, and texture in whisky.
Together, they’ll take you beyond the glass - uncovering how science shapes what we experience when we savour a dram, and how the Institute supports the Scotch whisky industry in understanding flavour through research and sensory analysis.
This tasting includes five drams and a one-course Society supper.
