Tasting Notes
In a dark abyss where casks are sent to repent, cocoa nibs, nutmeg and bitter chocolate truffles conspired to corrupt oblivious almonds, chestnuts and tangy orange skin. Black tea and coffee crept in from behind a mound of cinnamon sticks and liquorice, while hot cross buns and oak became scorched and charred by the flames of the devil's own tobacco pipe. A dash of holy water, however, delivered nut husk from evil and showered us with heavenly orange blossom, dried fruits and angelic Turkish delight. Coffee beans were baptised with cocktail bitters and malted biscuits saw the golden light of sunshine through oloroso. This initially spent 13 years in a bourbon hogshead before being transferred to a Spanish oak oloroso hogshead.
