Toffee apples and fudge were found with flowering gorse and rose bushes before toasty cereal aromas moved from coconut and cocoa into pencil shavings and cigar boxes. Big and juicy tropical flavours then emerged with an explosion of melon, mango and ripe banana like a burst of sunshine while deep spice layered cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger onto rye bread and antique wood. With water the sweet spice of hot cross buns with marmalade mingled with coffee beans, dark chocolate and leather. Toasted oak and coconut remained but now in a pine forest alongside molasses and hazelnuts on a fruity trifle.
