Tasting Notes
Light, delicate, fragrant and attractive a“ the nose had fruit pastilles, raspberry sauce on vanilla ice cream, pineapple cube sweets, candied lemon and a bouquet of freesias, carnations and jasmine. The palate was equally fruity a“ freshly squeezed orange juice, foamy bananas, peach yoghurt and vanilla, and finishing with gentle, sweet, spicy tongue tingles (white pepper, clove, nutmeg, ginger Edinburgh rock). The reduced nose spoke to us of pineapple lumps, sherbet lemons and honeysuckle at the edge of a pine forest. The palateas fruitiness (bellini cocktails, apricot jam, bitter lemon) was augmented by red onion and chilli marmalade, pan drops, toasted coconut and toffee.
