Tasting Notes
One Panellist described the neat nose as 'quite fresh and windy' while another found themselves smoking a menthol cigarette on the deck of a boat and standing next to a person wearing floral perfume. On the palate we detected a buttery sweetness and melted toffee, but at the same time this was thick and oily, like maple chilli lime-grilled shrimps. Following reduction, we found creamed, dried cod served on a slice of crusty bread as well as olive oil and hot butter in a cast-iron frying pan. To taste we had a pickleback, a shot of whisky chased by one of pickle brine. Sláinte.
