Tasting Notes
One of the Panellists was quick off the mark as he raided his grandpa’s old drinks cabinet; the scent of walnut wood, furniture polish and sweet booze put him right back in time. The taste took the form of dark chocolate oaky-smoky chilli and cocoa nib slabs plus salted honey and rosemary-roasted walnuts. Following reduction, we found ourselves in the Lone Star State (and not as expected in the Volunteer State) in Austin for an F1 race. As we were part of the paddock club, we were sipping a tipsy Texas tea in the garage, with the heated blankets just coming off for an imminent tyre change.
