Tasting Notes
A fragrant, floral sweetness of heather honey-cinnamon cream cheese spread on cinnamon raisin bagels or as a dip for apple slices made us all smile. The taste was so deliciously smooth. Imagine a chewy nougat caramel cup with hazelnut and chocolate before you have a glass of a caramel sweet hazelnut liqueur made with special hazelnuts which only grow in Piedmont. Following reduction, we used pine needles for mulching the rose beds before sitting down to enjoy banana tarte tatin with vanilla bean ice cream, toasted pecans and medjool date syrup. To summarise in two words – simply sublime.
