The aromas embraced chalk, minerals and limestone while white fish sizzled on a hot stove with a pot of sweet and sour sauce. The palate gave a huge burst of crunchy apple, juicy peach and soft nectarine with a fresh zing of mint and lime juice. With a few drops of water the fruitiness appeared on the nose with mango, guava and glace cherries in tinned fruit salad. Hints of linseed oil now merged with olive oil textures on the silky palate. Soft waxes combined with milk and hot cocoa with a sprinkle of lemon zest, nutmeg and cask char.
