A crisp classic

We were greeted by the citric sweetness of lemon meringue pie, lemon vanilla cheesecake and lime fruit pastilles, as well as a pear and marshmallow trifle. We then enjoyed a cocktail of elderflower liqueur, soda water, prosecco, fresh lime juice and mint leaves, garnished with a lime wedge. Following the addition of water the aroma developed into lemon fudge, toffee bonbons and vanilla beans next to peach-caramel sauce and a passion fruit panna cotta. To taste we first noticed the lovely mouth-coating texture of mocha fudge ice cream and vanilla cheesecake before a smooth, crisp and refreshing classic highball surprised us all.
