A little prickly on the nose neat at first, it felt just like “stroking a hedgehog the wrong way?” but soon followed by jasmine, lime tree blossom and cinnamon bark. Sweet and chewy on the palate – milk flavoured foam gum and marshmallows as well as a lye roll with salted butter and homemade lemon-lime marmalade. Diluted there developed aromas of baking either apricot or white chocolate chip cookies or orange and raspberry Jaffa cakes all combined with a light earthy tobacco note. The taste was that of pink pitaya poached pears, cranberry juice, cherry-flavoured cola with a light citric finish – a delicate, bonnie wee thing.
