A well-balanced and 'grown up' nose that suggested honey on burnt toast, pineapple tart, custard, white miso and lemon rind. A tang of green pepper in the background. Some water brought tart gooseberry preserve, dried mango slices, tonka beans and cough lozenges with a hint of olive oil. When neat the palate opened with cough medicines, pineapple cubes, herbal liqueurs and fudge. A ripple of dried raspberry running beneath too. With water we found green fruit syrups, white pepper, hessian, ointments and lemon oil.
