Tasting Notes
A sweet and fruity aroma on the neat nose reminded us of lime marmalade, bakewell tarts and a peach melba sundae with vanilla ice cream, prosecco, cream and lemon juice. On the palate, French raisin toast with cinnamon butter and honey-caramelised pears before we felt like squeezing lemon juice on to our tongues. Following reduction one Panellist piped up, for no apparent reason, with a quote from the Simpsons: “I’d like a single plum floating in perfume, served in a man’s hat”. A delightful fresh, sweet and fruity summer dram for those long, light evenings in the garden.
