Tasting Notes
A mellifluous and seductive nose – toffee, sugar loaf, dolly mixtures and golden syrup sweetness, hints of cut grass and a bed of blooms buzzing with bees. The palate has an initial bite and spicy tingles of ginger and chilli on the finish – in between were mellower entertainments of sugar cane, Demerara coffee grinds, Wagon Wheels, honeysuckle and oak. The nose blossoms with water – chamomile, lemon balm, canvas, putty, beeswax, nougat and cut flowers – like bath bombs after aromatherapy. The palate is also soothing – Bakewell tart and chocolate buttons, perfumed oils and incense. Mineralic, waxy and with raspberry jam pips on the finish.
