Tasting Notes

The nose is as fresh as a stroll through fragrant flower meadows on a summer morning, followed by a breakfast of croissants with apricot jam, apple strudel and a ripe peach. The palate is sweet and warming, but zingy and zesty at the same time – lemon sherbet, cloudy lemonade and various sweet biscuits, with a gentle lift of ginger lingering on the after-taste. The reduced nose continues the previous summer theme – one could imagine riotously colourful flowers in terracotta pots, lemon balm, pears and raspberry jam. The reduced palate bathes the mouth with pear-drops, Haribos, buttered crumpets, lemon, honey and peach.
