Looking at the colour we started with tasseography, a fortune-telling method also known as tea leaf reading. Sit back, relax and see what will happen. When we took a sip, we were transported to the Kelvingrove Art Gallery in Glasgow and stood for the first time in front of the painting Christ of St John of the Cross by Salvador Dali – an eerie feeling! Diluted; back to reality with soy sauce, miso broth, dark chocolate with smoky chipotle chilli, fig jam, wild strawberries and treacle scones – dark, earthy and full of sweet sultanas.
