Tasting Notes
Butter biscuits mingled with meringue and cold lemon curd, before being joined by peanut oil, strawberry liqueur and the perfume of a summer meadow on the nose. The palate was a fruit salad accented by mace and poppy seeds, served with fried bread, pear syrup and a drizzle of lavender honey. Water took us back to the meadow, this time with pollen filling the air as we watched a game of cricket and grazed on lemon bonbons. The finish was nutty and sweet, pursued by a tickle of white pepper spice and a piece of honeycomb served on sandalwood.
