Tasting Notes

Limited to 2 bottles per member

It was the fruitiness that struck the panel first. We noted tinned pineapples in syrup, mango lassi, tinned peaches and then a drizzle of olive oil. Beyond that we also found rosewater, cough mixtures and lanolin. A wonderfully classical, full-bodied highland dram. Reduction brought out a more gentle mineral side, cigarette papers, cough medicines, dry cereals and notes of kumquat and dried orange peel. The neat palate was once again fruit forward with exotic fruit cordials and fruit salad juices. Then lime syrup, melon, guava and passion fruit sours. All this on top of a wonderfully waxy texture. Reduction made it more medicinal once again, herbal, leafy, dried and crystallised fruits and hints of aniseed, tarragon and fennel.

Due to the festive period, orders will not be dispatched until w/c 10th January 2022.
