Tasting Notes
Initial nosing revealed a vigorous and charismatic profile that popped with peaches, cream soda, and menthol herbs such as wintergreen and myrtle, before we discovered sweeter notes of rhubarb and custard boiled sweets. The greenery of sappy oak and crushed nettles was noted in the background. Water brought spicier aromatics including potpourri and chai tea, alongside floral pollens, forest petrichor and more fresh herbs, lemon peel and balsa wood. The neat palate was intensely fruity up front, like juicy fruit-flavoured chewing gum with warmth from white pepper, and then honey sweetness. Reduction added a creaminess to the texture, along with cinnamon breakfast cereal, nettles once again, and more warmth from fruity red chilli.
