THE NUTS & BOLTS
DISTILLERY STYLES

Distillery 8 (Unpeated): A Speyside distillery established in the late 19th century, famous for their notes of dried fruits, honeycomb and apples.

Distillery 10 (Peated): This distillery is located on the famous whisky isle of Islay. Their output is roughly split 70/30 between unpeated and peated spirit. Here is a chance to really scratch that peaty itch, with spirit made from barley peated to somewhere between 35-45ppm.

Distillery 11 (Unpeated): From a Highland distillery near Inverness, you can expect a highly fruity spirit that matures exceptionally in a variety of cask types. An unpeated spirit full of sweet barley notes.

Distillery 42 (Peated): An Island Distillery established in the late 18th century and mothballed many times in its history. We typically find notes of medicinal smoke and briny seaside character.

Distillery 123 (Unpeated): A spirit produced in the southern Highlands from air kilned barley (no peat here!). You’ll find flavours and aromas of fresh green apples, toffee, and a hint of nuttiness.

cask styles

Ex-Bourbon (200l Barrel): Sweet notes of vanilla, caramel, coconut, orange and lemon notes.

Oloroso Cask (250l Hogshead): Classic Deep, Rich & Dried Fruits influence with dried figs, dates, warm spices and dark chocolate.

Pedro Ximenez Cask (250l Hogshead): Heavy Deep, Rich & Dried Fruits influence with resinous sweetness, boatloads of raisins, dark chocolate and intense sweetness.
