The glass was an assemblage of yummy treats as lychees and pistachio marshmallows commingled with coconut and vanilla ice cream while delightful peppermint aromas danced across liquorice sweets. A touch of ginger tingle on the palate quickly gave way to a delicious banana milkshake and poached pears drizzled with honey. Water simply enhanced what was an already creamy demeanour, now unfolding into whipped cream, soft butter and custard with vanilla pods. Coconut remained but now joined orange marmalade and cherries on lemon sponge cake and cinnamon buns. Custard was poured over rhubarb crumble and cherry Bakewell tarts to complement creamy pina coladas before a touch of spice brought espresso coffee and rye bread.
