Tasting Notes
A very inviting aroma of cherry chocolates, banana chips and brandy snaps as well as fresh pineapple juice, but at the same time a deeper scent of butterscotch, brown sugar, honey and beeswax. A wonderful texture neat; rich, creamy apricot syrup, nuts and pencil shavings before a tingling finish of ginger and cinnamon completed the experience. Diluted we discovered a sugary minty freshness at first followed by dried apple slices, prunes and caramelised brown sugar oranges, while to taste duck confit on roasted vegetables with a strawberry balsamic sauce accompanied by a glass of dry, full-bodied, rich and bold Chestnut Teal apera.
