Apple aperitif

A delicate clean, fragrant fruity and subtle sweet aroma of crispy apples, like those in a Somerset apple eau de vie, greeted us. On the palate the apples did not fall far from the tree - fizzy sour sweets, turnover, confit, crumble, strudel and pie. Be careful when adding water, but after a tiny drop an unbelievably fresh and floral scent, imagine lilac, elder or cherry blossom in full bloom unfolding its magic! To taste like a slice of semolina coconut cake soaked in fragrant lemon syrup and perfumed by orange and rose water, garnished with candied rose petals and sprinkled with toasted coconut.
