This bottle is limited to 2 per member

Freshly split pine logs, burning cedar wood, the inside of a freshly made acoustic guitar and then grubby coal scuttles, fire embers and an old iron poker. A rush of air from an old leather set of bellows. In time it became lightly carbolic and showed notes of putty, Tokaji wines and sheep wool. With reduction we encountered damp undergrowth, herbal toothpaste, green ginger wine and toasted pistachios. The neat palate is brimming with sweet madeira, spiced sponge cakes, bone marrow, hot cross buns, yellow chartreuse, mint julep and soda bread. Chalk, zesty, fatty, fresh and vivacious. Water brings salted caramel peanut brittle, fresh bread dipped in olive oil, parmesan cream sauce, pumpkin seeds, tiramisu, liquorice and punchy green tea. Matured in a bourbon hogshead for 11 years before being transferred to a first fill ex-rye whiskey hogshead.
