Tasting Notes
A fragrant but firmly "new highland" style agreed the Panel, with soft grassy olive oil notes matched by honey, warm textiles, nougat and fresh fruit salad. We also noted some underlying hints of vase water, crushed nettles and apricot. Reduction brought freshly laundered linens, coconut shampoo, white peach, green apple and ripe fig. The palate was initially rather playful, with notes of mint, cherry fondant chocolate and liquorice allsorts. This evolved nicely with mixed spice, white pepper and a nutty, waxy combination. Some water brought fun notes of chocolate-covered orange sponge biscuits, dried tarragon, fruity waxes and herbal teas.
