Tasting Notes
Two to One is the combination of two casks of single malt from the same distillery that are married before bottling. Each Two to One bottling demonstrates the Whisky Team’s skills in experimentation, flavour creation and innovation, with the whisky in each bottle coming from a different maturation journey through a range of cask types to create something unique and delicious. These cask strength offerings are bottled in our traditional green bottles and follow the usual Society bottle code format.

Tasting Notes
The aroma was a designer breakfast aftershave, with bass notes of exotic wood and rye bread, and top notes of cherry and blackcurrants. The palate continued in this vein: sweet and peachy, with sloe gin, bergamot and brambles. Water gave maple and citrus to the nose, pain aux raisins and papaya to the palate. The starting point for this small batch was an ex-bourbon barrel and an ex-bourbon hogshead of single malt Scotch whisky. One cask was transferred at 12 years old to a first fill American oak ex-PX hogshead and the other was left in the original barrel. The casks were then married together before bottling.
