A bright, open and superbly fresh nose greeted the Panel. Lots of crisp cereals, lemon peel, sugar puffs, citrus curds, fruit jellies and orange travel sweets. Behind that some barley sugars, melon cordial and sunflower seeds. Reduction brought further, rich cereal tones, buttered toast, crumpets, pistachio nuts and pumpkinseed oil. The palate was sweet and fruity with pineapple cubes, white jellybeans, lime zest, jasmine flowers and mineral oils. A touch of white chocolate too. With reduction we found more tertiary and complex flavours of heather ales, pressed wildflower, fresh butter, parsley, green tea with lemon and fragrant bergamot.
