Tasting Notes
A picture developed on the neat nose. We were walking on a beach – blue sky, calm sea and the aromas of the sand dunes, marram grass and nearby pine trees were blended by a gentle breeze creating a delicate perfume of mother nature. To taste, while still on the beach, we enjoyed buckthorn mousse and juice which we mixed with granola. Reduction brought the scent of vanilla beans, buttery croissants, candied grapefruits and key lime pie. On the palate, we now added maple syrup and honey to our granola while enjoying white chocolate-coated green grapes.
