Tasting Notes
A cascade of pineapples, mango and roasted red apples tumbled through a layer of sticky honey before becoming entrenched in creamy yoghurt. On the palate, the pineapple chunks were toasted and merrily bobbing about alongside slices of toffee apple and cinnamon sticks in mulled cider. However, with a dash of water the pineapples stood aside and welcomed plums, apricots and pears, boiling together to create luscious jam. Spices too came to the fore, with accentuated cinnamon, nutmeg and creamy vanilla. Everything folded together beautifully with juicy fruits – now joined by tangerine – plus sticky toffee, honeycomb and pleasing spices.
