Tasting Notes
We prepared a citrus moscatel sangria with grapefruit, oranges and kumquats all cut into slices, honey, lemon juice, Grand Marnier and a bottle of Moscatel de Valencia wine. More fruit on the palate with mango, guava and banana and a coffee liqueur with vanilla and cinnamon cream. After the addition of water, we moved seamlessly on with our fruit theme as we made a Kir Royale salad using watermelon, red plums, strawberries, red grapes, plenty of sparkling wine and a dash of crème de cassis. To taste now coconut ice cream, banana and custard doughnuts as well as banoffee macaroons and chocolate hazelnut crunch truffles.
