Tasting Notes
A typical nose for this great make, which opened with scented beach woods, fabrics, pollens, dried wild flowers, grassy olive oil and lemon verbena. In time there were some more assertive notes of citronella waxes and cough mixtures too. With water we got more pollens, putty, furniture oils, sandalwood, camphor and brighter notes of, fresh citrus rinds, green apple and mint. The neat palate was rich and sweet with vanilla custard, pineapple cubes, young dessert wines, heather beers and wildflowers. Water brought cough sweets, herbal jelly, mineral oils, pine resin and limoncello in tonic water.
