Tasting Notes

At first, we found beeswax wood furniture polish with some natural orange oil before a mixture of pickled ginger and wasabi, but also old-fashioned sweets of cola cubes and love hearts, confused us all. On the palate neat we stayed with retro-sweets; fizzy sherbet fountains, orange drops and a mango-chilli lollipop. Diluted we were biting into a green apple or had sugar crunch green seedless grapes as we made a fig and vanilla custard tart. The taste was just like a Scandinavian inspired dessert combining layers of stewed apples with cardamom flavoured rye breadcrumbs and whipped cream – to celebrate those little moments of happiness.
