Tasting Notes
A delicate scent of heather honey, custard cream biscuits, crushed vanilla pods and fresh cotton fragrance oil greeted the Panel before soft fruit jelly sweets, candied pineapple, kiwi and grapes took centre stage. On the palate the fruit turned into apples, calvados, cinnamon-spiced apple rings and sparkling cloudy apple juice. Water released further heady aromatic perfumed notes such as patchouli, jasmine and orange honey, as well as a serving of vanilla and tonka bean ice cream. The taste delivered a big scoop of macadamia nut brittle ice cream served in a crunchy chocolate waffle cone, with a finish of crème brûlée cookies.
