Tasting Notes
Upbeat and forthright aromas delivered the spiritous fragrance of perfume and vanilla sponge cake on a bed of crushed digestive biscuits and cut grass. The palate was as equally ready to party, with a disco inferno of wasabi and chillies before stone fruits and green apples blended into a mineralic finish. Adding water beckoned an all-singing-and-dancing karaoke of icing sugar-coated biscuits, dried coconut and hot cross buns, with the lasting floral demeanour of violet sweets. Sweet dancefloor manoeuvres now mixed ice wine and vanilla ice cream with gooseberries, nutmeg and oaky tannins as we partied into the early hours.
