As part of the 50th Anniversary Cask Club, you can own a piece of The Scotch Malt Society’s future as you experience first-hand a cask’s 10-year journey from still to bottle.
For the first time in our 40-year history, we will be selling the entire contents of a cask directly to our members. Once bottled, the whisky from these casks will form part of a unique 50th range in 2033, only available to those members who are part of this programme.
Distillery style
Distillery 10 (Peated): This distillery is located on the famous whisky isle of Islay. Their output is roughly split 70/30 between unpeated and peated spirit. Here is a chance to really scratch that peaty itch, with spirit made from barley peated to somewhere between 35-45ppm.
Cask style
Pedro Ximenez Cask: Heavy Deep, Rich & Dried Fruits influence with resinous sweetness, boatloads of raisins, dark chocolate and intense sweetness. This cask is a 250 litre Hogshead.
