50th Anniversary Cask Club
As part of the 50th Anniversary Cask Club, you can own a piece of The Scotch Malt Society’s future as you experience first-hand a cask’s 10-year journey from still to bottle.
For the first time in our 40-year history, we will be selling the entire contents of a cask directly to our members. Once bottled, the whisky from these casks will form part of a unique 50th range in 2033, only available to those members who are part of this programme.
Distillery 8 is a Speyside distillery established in the late 19th century which opened during the late Victorian whisky boom (just short of a century after Distillery 42). At this distillery, we savour their notes of dried fruits, honeycomb and apples.
With a Bourbon cask, you can expect fresh and summery flavours like vanilla, coconut, stonefruits as well as nice creamy texture. This cask is a 200 litre Barrel.
