Tasting Notes

The nose took us to a sunny summer terrace, with perfumed flowers and shrubs, chilled white wine, chamomile tea, croissants, honey, pink wafers and white peaches. The wonderfully sweet palate had lemon bonbons and cream soda, green apple and perfumed pear, plus a dry, lingering finish of carob, lemongrass and chardonnay. The reduced nose conjured a scene of domestic bliss – mum arranging flowers while kids enjoy dolly mixtures, Edinburgh rock, white chocolate bars and vanilla ice cream. The palate developed a slight apple, pineapple and sherbet fizz, Turkish delight, tarte tatin and spearmint chews, with tantalising traces of cinnamon, nutmeg and coffee to finish.
