A broad and generous aroma that included cream soda, baking parchment, barley sugars, soft waxes, pulpy yellow fruits, under-ripe melon, dried herbs and pineapple jelly. Water gave us mineral oils, pollen, chamois leather, wildflowers and richer notes of hessian then stone fruits and tinned lychee in syrup. The neat palate was richly sweet and succulent. Oily and viscous in texture with notes of herbal tea, a warming peppery quality and delicate ointments. Water revealed more fleshy, overripe fruitiness, olive oil, hand cream, buttermilk icing, herbal ointments, wood spice and orange travel sweets.
